| Route 80 Bus Crash 8/22/08 |
Two busses traveling Route 80 West. bus #1 slowed down because of heavy traffic when it was rear ended by bus #2. The impact caused bus #1 to crash through a guard rail, over a wall into a 50ft. ravine. Over 50 passengers suffered minor injuries.
Recovery included 2 heavy duty wreckers one positioned in the median of Rt. 80 was used to hold and upright bus #1 onto its wheels. A second heavy duty wrecker was positioned on Lower Berkshire Valley Road used to winch Bus #1 out of the woods.
